The delegation inspected the Tan Lap Commune Resettlement Area Project to serve the site clearance for the North-South high-speed railway project through the province. This resettlement project covers an area of 2 hectares, with a total investment of about 35 billion VND, and is expected to arrange 60 lots to serve households subject to relocation.
Through land surveying of the resettlement area, 9 cases (8 individual households and 1 brick kiln) were identified to be affected. This is 1 of 6 resettlement areas with land origin managed by households, requiring site clearance.
Next, the delegation inspected the Ham Kiem Commune Resettlement Area Project. This project has a scale of 3.5 hectares, with the expected number of resettlement lots being 129 lots/population of 516 people, with a total implementation cost of about 45 billion VND.
The entire land area is a 5% land fund managed by the People's Committee of Ham Kiem Commune and was handed over to Construction Investment Management Board No. 2 on August 12, 2025. This is one of the four projects of the province that will have a launching ceremony tomorrow (August 19).

In addition, the delegation also inspected the Social Housing Area for Workers in Ham Kiem II Industrial Park. This project is invested by Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company with an area of 31.2 hectares. The project consists of 3 phases with a total investment capital of 439 billion VND in phase 1, with the goal of providing housing for workers working in the industrial park and other subjects according to regulations to create stable housing conditions and long-term attachment to the enterprise.
Currently, Binh Tan Investment Joint Stock Company has invested in the construction of the rough part of the Apartment Complex at Lot B2 (4,354.5 m2 ) including 1 basement, 9 floors with a total construction floor area of 21,390 m2 , scale of 280 apartments.
In addition, the investor has constructed infrastructure around apartment building B2 (roads, electricity, water supply and drainage, etc.). Blocks B1, B3, B4 are currently implementing construction drawing designs.
In particular, the delegation also inspected the Phan Thiet Airport Access Road Project, Phase 2. This project is 3.6 km long, starting at the intersection with Vo Nguyen Giap Street, ending at the gate of the civil aviation area; roadbed width is 36 m, road surface width is 13.5 m, median width is 12.5 m, sidewalk width on each side is 5 m. The road surface structure is asphalt concrete on crushed stone aggregate layer; sidewalk structure is paved with bricks... Total investment is more than 117 billion VND.
The project started in January 2024 and was completed on July 15, 2025. Currently, the project is in the inspection phase, preparing for acceptance and handover for use.
This is the location where the inauguration ceremony will be held, connected to an online television bridge to localities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Through the on-site inspection, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai acknowledged the efforts of localities and investors in implementing the projects. The Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also requested localities where the projects pass through to promptly establish a Compensation, Support, Resettlement Council and a specific Land Valuation Council.
At the same time, implement land inventory, review the current land use status of resettlement areas, to carry out site clearance work. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: localities strengthen propaganda work, strictly manage land funds to avoid illegal construction in resettlement areas, avoid complicated situations in the process of compensation and site clearance.
According to the plan of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, 2 projects were launched, including the Social Housing Area for workers of Ham Kiem II Industrial Park and the Resettlement Area in Ham Kiem Commune, serving the site clearance for the North-South high-speed railway through the province.
Two projects were inaugurated: the road to Phan Thiet airport (phase 2) and Mo Vet bridge, Da Teh district (old).
After directly inspecting the field preparation work at the locations where the launching and inauguration will be held tomorrow (August 19), Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai acknowledged the proactiveness and urgency of departments, branches and units in coordinating and implementing assigned tasks.
Up to this point, preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony such as: Decoration, celebration, transmission lines, ensuring security and order, traffic, fire prevention and fighting, plans to welcome delegates... have been basically completed.
He requested the project investor to coordinate with the locality to review the preparation work carefully, implement with a high sense of responsibility, and absolutely not allow any negligence to occur.
At the same time, coordinate well with press agencies to widely promote and introduce projects to cadres, party members and people to create consensus and spread excitement in the community on the occasion of the country's important anniversary.

The North-South high-speed railway project through Lam Dong province is nearly 160 km long, including 2 stations and 4 maintenance stations. To serve this project, Lam Dong province has identified 8 locations for resettlement areas with a total area of about 27.92 hectares; the total cost is about 420 billion VND.
It is known that tomorrow (August 19), the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of projects and works to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will take place simultaneously nationwide with a total of 250 works and projects. This is a special event, affirming that Vietnam is prosperous and ready to enter a new era.
