Chairman of Phan Thiet Ward People's Committee - Tran Nguyen Loc added: Since the beginning of the year, fishing activities in Phan Thiet Ward have basically remained stable, with positive developments in both output and fishing capacity. Total fishing output in recent years has continuously reached and exceeded the set plan. Along with that, handicraft products have developed quite well, the quality of products has been increasingly improved, meeting the tastes of consumers and tourists. Large seafood processing facilities in the area have operated relatively effectively. As a result, the total state budget revenue in the first 7 months of 2025 reached over 132.7 billion VND, reaching 67.35%...

In the cultural and social fields, job creation and vocational training for local workers are focused on. The ward continues to properly and fully implement preferential policies and regimes for people with revolutionary contributions; social security policies are guaranteed, and subsidies are paid promptly...

At the 2nd session of the People's Council of Phan Thiet Ward, term 2021 - 2026, which took place in August 2025, the People's Council of the Ward passed a Resolution on tasks for the last 5 months of 2025. In which, the locality determined to continue focusing on effectively implementing agricultural, forestry and fishery programs and projects. Well implementing the Government's policies, creating all favorable conditions for fishermen to invest in developing large-capacity boats for offshore fishing. Resolutely implementing solutions to combat illegal fishing (IUU).

At the 2nd session, the People's Council of Phan Thiet Ward, Term I, passed a Resolution on tasks for the last 5 months of 2025. In particular, the main targets were set: Budget revenue reached the assigned plan of 197,112 billion VND; seafood output reached 14,685 tons; multidimensional poverty rate decreased according to the assigned target by 0.05%; maintaining the rate of universal health insurance at 97%; maintaining the rate of public schools meeting national standards at 61%.
