On the afternoon of November 27, at the Southern Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , the 6th Agricultural and Rural Development Journalism Awards ceremony took place solemnly, gathering a large number of delegates, reporters and award-winning authors.
The 6th Agricultural Economics and Rural Development Journalism Awards Ceremony in 2025, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association in coordination with the Southern Representative Office, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Agricultural Economics Reporters Club, marks the 15-year journey of recognizing the outstanding contributions of the press in the agricultural sector. This is also the 15-year milestone of the establishment of the Agricultural Economics Reporters Club, known as a collective that has always closely accompanied the agricultural economics sector and rural-urban issues.

The 6th award was launched in early 2025 with the theme “Vietnam’s Agriculture and Environment Entering a New Era”. From hundreds of entries in many types of journalism, the Jury selected the best entries to award 10 Consolation Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, 2 Second Prizes, 1 First Prize and 2 Media Prizes for television and radio.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Binh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, highly appreciated the role of the press in the reform of Vietnam's agriculture: "The works honored today demonstrate the dedication, responsibility and enthusiasm of journalists. The press not only reflects reality and raises issues, but also spreads knowledge, good models and new solutions to support farmers, businesses and management agencies. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is committed to continuing to accompany and create conditions for the press to promote its role in the green development phase of the industry."
In addition to the award ceremony, the program also recognized the support of industry associations, businesses and donors who have supported the Club and the Organizing Committee over the years. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Agricultural Economic Reporters Club and the Club also awarded commemorative medals to many individuals and groups who have been associated with and supported the Club during the past journey.
