During the working trip, the Deputy Prime Minister visited many important items of PTSC at the Center for Technology and Technical Services, including: the construction site office - where projects are operated and managed, the fabrication yard area of key works of the Block B - O Mon Gas - Power Project Chain, a national-scale project affirming PTSC's leading domestic oil and gas mechanical general contractor capacity and the Sao Mai Ben Dinh expansion area, a strategic infrastructure serving both traditional oil and gas projects and offshore renewable energy.

Here, PTSC introduced to the Deputy Prime Minister its outstanding capacity as well as typical projects that have been and are being implemented. Notable among them are typical projects such as completing and handing over 33 offshore wind power bases to customer Orsted - the world's largest wind power developer, continuing to construct and complete 09 offshore transformer stations for export to Europe and Taiwan; manufacturing the central technology platform of the Lac Da Vang Project; and especially the simultaneous implementation of important construction items and components of the Block B Field Development Project - a national oil and gas project of strategic significance to ensure energy security.

During the working trip, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the efforts and results that PTSC has achieved, especially in affirming its international general contractor capacity and expanding into the renewable energy sector. The completion and development of PTSC's Center for Oil and Gas Engineering and Technical Services in Ba Ria - Vung Tau (now Ho Chi Minh City) is a clear demonstration of PTSC's strategic vision and correct development orientation. The Center not only plays the role of the leading modern oil and gas - energy industry infrastructure in Vietnam, but also serves as a launching pad for PTSC to pioneer in participating in the offshore renewable energy value chain (REV). This is in line with the global energy transition trend, contributing to replacing fossil fuels, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and effectively implementing the goals of the Power Plan VIII and Resolution 55 of the Politburo.

Also during the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister kindly visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the leaders, officers, engineers and workers of PTSC - those who directly contributed their efforts and intelligence to the successful implementation of key national projects, contributing to ensuring energy security and promoting the country's sustainable energy transition.
