On October 2nd, the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City ( Quang Nam province ) announced that it had received a report regarding the incident where a parent stormed into a classroom and assaulted a student at Nguyen Du Secondary School (Tam Ky City).
Accordingly, on September 30th, the school held a meeting with relevant parties to hear reports on the incident, analyze unacceptable student behavior, and determine appropriate disciplinary measures.
Nguyen Du Junior High School is where the incident of a parent storming into a classroom and assaulting a student occurred.
Considering the reports and self-criticisms of the students who violated discipline, and the minutes of the meeting on September 25th regarding the handling of student violations in classes 8/9 and 8/11, the meeting unanimously agreed that strict disciplinary action is necessary to deter and educate , while also providing the students with an opportunity to learn from their mistakes and strive for improvement in their studies and training.
The school held a student disciplinary committee meeting as per regulations, conducting a secret ballot to propose disciplinary measures for each student who violated the rules.
Based on the disciplinary committee's recommendations, the Principal of Nguyen Du Secondary School issued disciplinary decisions against the students who violated the rules, notified the entire school, parents, the school and class parent representatives, and reported to the relevant management agency.
Specifically, student NNT (8th grade/9) was disciplined with a reprimand for chasing and assaulting a classmate, and the incident was reported to the student's parents to coordinate efforts in helping the student overcome the problem.
Student HHGB (class 8/11) intentionally teased a classmate, indirectly causing the incident, and was disciplined with a warning and direct support to help the student overcome their shortcomings.
Specifically, student P.Đ.H (class 8/9) who participated in chasing and beating a classmate was disciplined with a warning, and received direct support and assistance to help the student overcome their shortcomings.
According to the Tam Ky City Department of Education and Training, regarding the handling of the violation by Mr. HVL (parent of student HHGB) for arbitrarily entering the school and assaulting a student, the Tan Thanh Ward Police have worked with the individuals involved, consolidated the file, and advised the Tam Ky City Police to issue a decision on the matter.
As Thanh Nien newspaper previously reported, on the morning of September 24th, while playing, two students from class 8/9 and one student from class 8/11 had a conflict and fought. As a result, the student from class 8/11 suffered swelling on their eyelid.
Later, a student from class 8/11 borrowed the school security guard's phone to call their parents. After taking their child to the hospital for examination, the parent returned to school during the first period that afternoon and then went to class 8/9 and assaulted two students.
Following the incident, Nguyen Du Secondary School held a meeting with parents and students. During the meeting, all students acknowledged their mistakes and promised not to repeat them.
Furthermore, Mr. HVL admitted his गलती and apologized to the school, apologized to the two parents whose children were assaulted, and pledged not to repeat this incident again.
Regarding the two parents whose children were assaulted by Mr. L., they acknowledged that their children's actions were wrong, committed to educating their children, and accepted the apology from the parents of child B.
