Women in Hoang Tien mobilize to clean up the beach.

On the morning of April 26th, at Hai Tien beach, the Women's Union of Hoang Tien commune, in coordination with local clubs, organized a general environmental cleanup campaign with the message "Green Sunday - working together to spread green, clean, and beautiful."

The program attracted nearly 200 female officials and members, along with members of the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Club and the Book Cafe Club, creating a vibrant atmosphere and spreading a spirit of community responsibility.

From early morning, the forces proactively divided into several groups, fully prepared with tools such as brooms, sacks, gloves, etc., and simultaneously launched a campaign to collect waste along the beach and coastal roads.

Hoang Tien boasts over 6.8km of coastline within the Hai Tien Marine Ecotourism Area. To prepare for the 2026 tourism season, the local authorities are actively mobilizing resources to upgrade infrastructure, improve environmental sanitation, enhance the landscape, and improve service quality.

Regular beach cleanup activities have been identified as a crucial solution to building an image of a civilized, friendly, and safe tourist destination ahead of the tourist season.

According to Ms. Vu Thi Sang, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hoang Tien commune, the campaign not only has practical significance in cleaning up the marine environment but also contributes to raising awareness and changing the behavior of people and tourists in limiting the use of single-use plastic products. Through specific actions, the program aims for the long-term goal of the "Green Sunday" campaign, forming habits of civilized behavior towards the environment, thereby preserving the Hai Tien beach tourism landscape in a green, clean, and sustainable way.

This is also one of the practical activities to prepare for the Hai Tien Beach Tourism Festival 2026, which is expected to be held on the evening of April 30th at the square stage of the tourist area.
