Cau Thia Ward proactively prevents storm No. 9, ensuring production safety and people's lives.

To proactively prevent and combat storm No. 9, the leaders of Cau Thia Ward People's Committee inspected the actual rice harvest work of the people and reviewed areas at risk of flooding and landslides in Nam Tang residential group, Lu 1, Muong village and some other areas.

People have basically finished harvesting 865 hectares of winter-spring rice.

Thanks to the drastic direction of the local government and the initiative of the people, up to now, 865 hectares of the ward's summer-autumn rice have been harvested; at the same time, the area of ​​land for winter-spring crop production is more than 100 hectares. In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 9, the ward leaders requested residential groups and households to strengthen monitoring and early warning in areas at risk of landslides and flooding; ensure safety of life and property, and at the same time, direct specialized departments to continue reviewing resettlement areas, determining the number of unallocated land plots to advise and submit to the province for approval to arrange for households that must be urgently relocated; the ward also urgently completes procedures to issue land use right certificates to households that have been arranged in the resettlement area.
