Giang Vo Ward: Many innovations in the way the Youth Union operates.

On May 15th, the Youth Union and the Children's Council of Giang Vo Ward organized a celebration commemorating the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization.

Recalling the 85-year tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization, Vu Tung Duong, Secretary of the Ward Youth Union and Chairman of the Ward Young Pioneers Council of Giang Vo Ward, said that in the 2025-2026 school year, the first year when the two-tiered local government model comes into operation, the work of the Young Pioneers Organization and the children's movement in Giang Vo Ward will be implemented with many innovations and creative approaches, achieving positive results.

The activities of the Youth Union have closely followed the task of educating children about revolutionary ideals, ethics, and a cultured lifestyle; creating an environment for members to compete in learning and training, fostering creativity, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to contribute.

Particularly in the context of current digital transformation and integration, the Youth Union's activities in the ward are gradually innovating their methods of operation towards a modern, approachable, and child-friendly approach, contributing to building a dynamic, confident, knowledgeable, idealistic, ambitious, and responsible generation of children in Giang Vo.

“In the coming time, the Youth Union and Children's Council of Giang Vo ward hope to continue receiving even more attention from the Party Committee, the government, agencies, units and the whole society for the work of caring for and educating children, especially vulnerable children and children with difficult circumstances who always strive to excel in their studies and training,” Comrade Vu Tung Duong emphasized.

On this occasion, the Youth Union and the Children's Council of the ward awarded prizes for the painting contest "Our Team Grows Up with the Nation". Launched on April 15, 2026, the contest received nearly 300 entries from children in the ward. The organizing committee selected 100 works to participate in the "Our Team Grows Up with the Nation" exhibition and decided to award prizes to the 12 most outstanding works.

At the program, the Standing Committee of the Ward Youth Union honored 85 outstanding Youth Union officials and members for the 2015-2026 school year; and presented Certificates of Commendation to the collectives of the Youth Union branches.
