Honoring and rewarding outstanding teachers in charge of the Youth Union in Ho Chi Minh City.

TPO - 2026 marks the first time the Ho Chi Minh City Excellent Team Leader Competition will be held in the context of the city's post-merger era, with the largest scale and number of contestants ever.

On the afternoon of May 25th, at the Ho Chi Minh City Children's House, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Council held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the Ho Chi Minh City Excellent Team Leader Competition - Olympic Winged Swallow 2026.

This year's competition is organized into three categories with three independent programs. The content, format, and evaluation criteria are distinct, creating opportunities for team leaders to fully develop their abilities, skills, expertise, and creativity in their practical work.

Ultimately, the first prize in Group A, Group B, and Group C went to Ms. Dinh Anh Nguyet (Binh Tan Primary School, Tan Tao Ward), Mr. Tran Nguyen Anh Tu (Nguyen Van Be Secondary School, Binh Loi Trung Ward), and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hieu Thao (Lua Hong Group, Cho Lon Ward Public Service Supply Center), respectively.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Board of Directors of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training commended the candidates who achieved the titles of Excellent Team Leader, Excellent Team Leader, and Excellent Team Leader in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2026 school year.

At the event, Ms. Trinh Thi Hien Tran - Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Council - stated that 2026 will be the first year the competition is held in the context of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger, with the largest scale and number of contestants ever.

Ms. Tran believes that the results of the competition have contributed to building a team of skilled, child-loving, and dedicated youth leaders who are committed to youth work and the children's movement.
