Hiep Hoa Ward: Signed a commitment to strengthen land management, environment, construction order and mobilize people to support land clearance.

On the morning of July 29, the People's Committee of Hiep Hoa Ward organized a conference to sign a commitment between the village and residential area chiefs and the Ward People's Committee on land management, construction order, environmental sanitation and mobilizing people to clear the site.

The conference took place in a special context when Hiep Hoa had just officially operated a 2-level local government apparatus after merging from 3 old localities: Song Khoai, Cong Hoa and Hiep Hoa. With the determination to build a strong, disciplined, effective and efficient administration, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward proactively reviewed and evaluated the practice, thereby proposing new, creative and flexible ways of doing things, suitable to practical requirements, especially in land management, construction order, environmental sanitation, dykes, irrigation and site clearance for key projects.

The Party cell secretaries and heads of villages and residential areas of Hiep Hoa ward signed a commitment to implement the contents of land management, construction order, environmental sanitation and mobilizing people for land clearance.

At the conference, 39 Party cell secretaries, village and ward chiefs directly signed a commitment with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward, clearly demonstrating their personal responsibility in the management work in the area under their charge. The commitment emphasized the spirit of initiative and determination in coordinating propaganda, detecting, reporting, and promptly handling violations of laws on land, construction, environment, traffic, etc.; at the same time, resolutely not tolerating or covering up violations, contributing to maintaining discipline, order, and urban civilization right from the grassroots.

The People's Committee of Hiep Hoa Ward requires villages and residential areas to closely coordinate with functional forces to promote propaganda work, raise people's awareness in complying with legal regulations related to land, construction, and environment. Along with that, synchronously and drastically deploy inspection, supervision, and strict handling of violations right from the beginning at the grassroots level. This is an urgent and especially important task in the current period to create a solid foundation for Hiep Hoa to stabilize the area, build an increasingly civilized, disciplined, and sustainable ward.

The signing of the commitment clearly demonstrates the political determination and close connection between the Party Committee, the government, the grassroots, and the people in implementing the key tasks of Hiep Hoa ward in the new period. This is also a model that needs to be promoted to build an urban government close to the people, serving the people.
