O Cho Dua Ward launches AI virtual assistant to support public administrative procedures

On October 10, the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward held the launching ceremony of AI virtual assistant including two models serving officials, civil servants and people. This is a step forward to improve management efficiency, administrative reform, service quality for people, towards building a modern and transparent urban government.

Delegates pressed the button to launch the AI ​​virtual assistant to support management, operations and assist citizens in handling administrative procedures.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward Le Tuan Dinh said that, implementing the Party and State's policies and the City's policies on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, after operating the two-level local government model, O Cho Dua Ward has identified digital transformation as a key task, throughout all activities.

"The launching ceremony of the AI ​​virtual assistant to support management, operations and support citizens in handling administrative procedures is an important milestone in the ward's digital transformation roadmap, demonstrating the determination to innovate and the pioneering spirit of the entire political system of O Cho Dua ward," said comrade Le Tuan Dinh.

Mr. Le Khac Hiep, General Director of ADT International Joint Stock Company - the unit that worked with O Cho Dua ward to build the AI ​​virtual assistant system, shared: "The AI ​​virtual assistant system was developed based on a survey of actual needs, integrating ward-level administrative data and training with an advanced AI model. The AI ​​virtual assistant system is operated with two AI virtual assistants with separate functions".

The first is a virtual assistant for officials and civil servants. This is a tool to support officials in looking up laws, drafting and summarizing reports. In particular, the virtual assistant has the ability to score legal documents, early warning of errors in legal basis, signing authority or document issuance process. This helps officials reduce pressure, have more conditions to focus on professional work, and at the same time improve the accuracy and transparency of the administrative system.

The second is a virtual assistant that supports people in handling administrative procedures. This tool has functions such as providing specific instructions on document components, steps to perform online public services, and quickly and accurately answering administrative questions according to legal regulations both during and outside of business hours.

In the coming time, O Cho Dua ward will continue to upgrade, improve and expand the virtual assistant system to agencies and organizations in the political system; at the same time, maintain data updates, regularly train the system, listen to feedback from officials and people so that the virtual assistant becomes increasingly intelligent, friendly and useful.

To realize the goal of comprehensive digital transformation, O Cho Dua ward has widely deployed it in all areas of work, in agencies, unions, and residential areas in the area; Deploying the Campaign "45 days and nights of supporting digital transformation activities" with a comprehensive and drastic action roadmap with the core motto: "Taking people as the center, taking service efficiency as the goal" has created a strong and substantial change in awareness and action.

O Cho Dua Ward has established 65 Community Digital Transformation Teams with nearly 400 members to support people in accessing online public services towards universalizing "Digital literacy"; Improving digital skills with 100% of officials and civil servants equipped with computers, high-speed internet connection and participating in training on information security, using public services, digital applications such as VNeID, iHanoi, Etax mobile.

Along with that is building a data platform: Establishing a Technology - Professional Response Team, and simultaneously deploying many synchronous solutions in managing population data and administrative records.
