Bac Ninh passes resolution to support workers after reorganization and merger

In particular, the Resolution on policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in agencies, units, and organizations of Bac Ninh province affected by the implementation of administrative unit rearrangement at the provincial and commune levels received attention and agreement from agencies and units in the area. The total budget for implementing the policy is expected to be about 147 billion VND, from the provincial budget and public revenue, implemented in 2 years (from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027).

Accordingly, civil servants, public employees and workers at provincial-level agencies and units who are mobilized, assigned and arranged by competent authorities to change their working location from the administrative center of the provincial-level administrative unit before the arrangement to the administrative center of the provincial-level administrative unit after the arrangement, or vice versa, will be supported with accommodation and travel expenses of VND 3,000,000/person/month.

Civil servants, public employees, and workers who are mobilized, assigned, arranged, or seconded from provincial, district, or commune-level agencies and units to work at commune-level administrative units after the arrangement, with a travel distance by road from the provincial, district, or commune-level administrative center before the arrangement to the commune-level administrative center after the arrangement of 20km or more, will be supported with accommodation and travel expenses depending on the travel distance.

Specifically, distance from 20km to under 30km supports 3,000,000 VND/person/month; distance from 30km to under 40km supports 3,700,000 VND/person/month; distance from 40km to under 50km supports 4,500,000 VND/person/month; distance from 50km or more supports 5,200,000 VND/person/month.

Vote to approve the contents at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai noted that after the merger, Bac Ninh province has more development space, scope, resources, opportunities, more workload, greater decentralization and authorization; the demand for a government close to the people, serving the people best is increasingly high.

He requested the People's Council, the People's Committee of the province, all levels, sectors and localities to focus on thoroughly grasping and widely propagating the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, especially the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; creating consensus in the whole society, mobilizing all economic sectors and people of all walks of life to actively respond and participate in implementing the Resolution.

Secretary of Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai gave a speech at the meeting.

Along with that, the province needs to resolutely, synchronously and flexibly deploy measures to manage economic and social development, ensuring the growth target of 11.5% in 2025 and an average of 11-12% per year in the 2026-2030 period. Speed up the completion of key tasks associated with reviewing and specifically evaluating the progress of each target and task in the 2025 socio-economic development plan; complete strategic infrastructure.

The Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested to soon promulgate and institutionalize mechanisms and policies under the province's authority to clear bottlenecks and free up resources, creating new driving forces for socio-economic development and improving people's quality of life.
