On the morning of May 21st, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Dinh ward organized a program to review one year of implementing the "Morning Coffee - Tan Dinh Listens and Acts" model.
Reflections related to multiple fields
The program was developed by Tan Dinh ward in the context of implementing a two-tiered local government model, where the requirement for the grassroots government is not only to handle administrative procedures but also to proactively listen to and understand the concerns of the people and businesses.
After one year, the Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee organized four morning coffee sessions at four different locations within the ward, attracting representatives from the Party Committee, neighborhood committees, the Fatherland Front Committee, businesses, households, and residents.
Through the program, the ward recorded 19 opinions and feedback related to various fields such as urban beautification, environmental sanitation, waste collection, sidewalk order, security and order, fire prevention and control, administrative procedure reform, production and business support, digital transformation, and policies related to the people. To date, all 19 opinions have been considered, resolved, and processed completely.

A friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the "Morning Coffee - Tan Dinh Listens and Acts" program.
At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Ward 19, suggested that the ward pay more attention to grassroots healthcare , given the increasing demand for health care among residents. She also raised the issue of sidewalk encroachment and street vending, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach that complies with the law while also considering the livelihoods of workers.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Secretary of the Party Branch of Ward 19, offered many practical suggestions at the program.
Make a noticeable difference.
Responding to residents, Mr. Pham Ngoc Thang, Head of Tan Dinh Ward Police, said that the work of restoring order on sidewalks and roads is being carried out vigorously according to the plan of the Ho Chi Minh City Police. On Ba Le Chan street, in the area around Tan Dinh market, the handling of awnings, street vendors, and sidewalk encroachment has created a clear improvement, making the road more open and less congested.
According to Mr. Thang, dealing with street vendors can cause resentment, especially among those struggling to make a living. Therefore, the authorities will combine public awareness campaigns and reminders with enforcement according to regulations, while also hoping for the cooperation of the neighborhood, residents, and businesses.
Mr. Le Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, said that this program has special significance as it coincides with the one-year anniversary of the operation of the two-tiered local government model.
The Party Secretary of Tan Dinh Ward stated: “We appreciate and fully accept all feedback from residents, neighborhoods, and the business community. These frank and sincere suggestions will serve as a basis for the ward to adjust its approach and improve service quality in the future.”

Mr. Le Duc Thanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Dinh Ward, listened to and recorded feedback from the grassroots level to further improve the approach in the future.
According to Mr. Thanh, over the past year, Tan Dinh has basically completed the reorganization of its administrative structure according to the new model. The units are gradually operating stably, promptly meeting the needs of citizens and businesses in resolving administrative procedures.
In the coming period, the ward will focus on investing in and repairing the dilapidated alleyways and sidewalks; at the same time, it will prioritize the health care of its residents, aiming to build Tan Dinh into a developed, civilized, and happy ward.
