Pi Network's price plummets to a historical low.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On the evening of July 30th, the price of Pi Network suddenly dropped sharply to $0.4 USD. This is also the lowest price for Pi Network since the cryptocurrency was listed on exchanges.

By the early morning of July 31st, the cryptocurrency had recovered slightly and risen to $0.42. However, the value of Pi Network has fallen by more than 85% from its peak reached at the end of February.

In July, the cryptocurrency market witnessed a massive surge as Bitcoin reached all-time highs and numerous altcoins experienced exceptional growth. However, Pi Network bucked this trend, with its value continuously declining.

Technical analysis suggests that this cryptocurrency does not follow the trends of Bitcoin or other major altcoins, raising questions about the project's independence and resilience.

According to data from PiScan , the Pi Network project will unlock over 159 million tokens onto exchanges in the next 30 days, with nearly 8.2 million Pi Network tokens scheduled to be listed on August 8th.

This continuously increasing supply creates strong selling pressure, and when demand is insufficient to absorb the new supply, the price of Pi Network is likely to continue to fall sharply, explaining the cryptocurrency's recent slump.

According to the project team, there are currently over 7.7 billion Pi Network tokens in circulation. However, the amount of tokens held by the project team and exchanges remains unknown, raising concerns about potential price manipulation.

Pi Network is currently only listed on a few mid-sized exchanges. Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, remains open to listing the project, while Bybit, the second-largest exchange, has flatly refused. This also reflects a lack of confidence in Pi Network from major exchanges.

In March, the Hanoi City Police issued a warning to the public about investing in the Pi Network cryptocurrency. Authorities stated that, according to Vietnamese law, virtual currencies in general, and Pi in particular, are not yet considered assets.

According to the Hanoi City Police, the Pi cryptocurrency has no practical applications. Its current value is self-determined and has led many people to misunderstand the true value of this virtual currency.
