PSG, Inter pocket the biggest bonuses in Champions League this season.

According to Football Meets Data , PSG are currently the highest earners from the UEFA Champions League this season. The French side earned a total of 137.9 million euros, a figure that skyrocketed after reaching the final.

UEFA divides the Champions League prize money into three main groups. The group stage participation fee, which each team receives 18.62 million euros. Next is the TV rights fee and the five-year performance coefficient of the clubs. Finally, the performance bonus, based on results in the qualifying round and qualifying for the knockout stages.

PSG reached the final, and at the same time had a high UEFA coefficient, helping them rise to the top of the prize money rankings despite finishing 15th in the qualifying round. Reaching the final alone helped PSG pocket an additional 18.5 million euros. If they win the championship, PSG will receive an additional 6.5 million euros and an additional 4 million euros for participating in the European Super Cup, bringing the total prize money to 148.4 million euros, a record number.

Right behind PSG is Inter Milan with 136.7 million euros. The Serie A representative had an impressive journey and won the right to play in the final. Inter's current total prize money is only slightly less than PSG's. With a stable UEFA coefficient and excellent performance throughout the tournament, Inter earns a huge profit.

Arsenal, despite stopping in the semi-finals, still finished third with 117 million euros in prize money. The London club had a good record, a high UEFA coefficient and impressed from the qualifying round to the quarter-finals, enough to help them rank above many European giants. Although they could not participate in the final match, this was still a season that brought in a lot of revenue for the "Gunners".

It is also worth noting that UEFA has applied a new prize money allocation mechanism since this season, in which 37.5% of the total budget is divided based on competition performance, 35% based on commercial and television value, and the remaining 27.5% is divided equally among the 36 participating teams.

The Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan, in addition to the battle for glory, is also a race to determine which team dominates the financial side of European Cup this year. If they win the title, PSG will set a new milestone in total prize money in the history of the tournament.

On the contrary, if Inter wins, they will have a spectacular breakthrough in revenue, ending a dream season not only in terms of titles but also financially.
