According to Sky News, British soldiers practiced combat against a Russian attack from a platform in the London Underground system.
In the scenario proposed by Britain, its military deploys to Estonia after Russian forces attack the Baltic states. British and allied forces, including American troops, would transform a deserted section of the Charing Cross metro station into a hypothetical temporary underground base in Estonia's capital, Tallinn.

This is an example of how civilian infrastructure can be repurposed for military use during wartime.
At the simulated underground base, soldiers hunched over laptops and analyzed the situation on large screens, using artificial intelligence and other digital technologies to help quickly identify Russian targets before launching salvos of drones, missiles, and jamming devices to eliminate them.

During the exercise, the British-led group had to deploy more than 5,000 UAVs daily for attack and surveillance purposes against Russian forces that are seasoned and resilient after years of conflict with Ukraine.
This military exercise lasted throughout the week, providing numerous opportunities for British soldiers to better understand their weaknesses and what needs to be done to overcome them.
