On the afternoon of September 26, a working delegation from the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Le Hong Nhan, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region, inspected preparations and response to storm No. 10 at Cua Lo Port, Cua Lo Ward, Nghe An Province.

At the scene, the delegation heard reports on the situation of moored boats and plans to ensure safety for people and property.
Up to now, boats in the area have entered safe shelters; units have organized forces and means, strictly maintained combat readiness, guided and helped fishermen enter storm shelters, anchored boats; regularly checked and reminded fishermen to comply with the sea ban.
Major General Le Hong Nhan requested units to continue to closely monitor the storm's developments; coordinate closely with local authorities, promptly deploy plans to evacuate people in dangerous areas, avoid being caught off guard; and be ready with forces and means to participate in rescue when situations arise.



As of 4 p.m. on September 26, more than 116,000 officers, soldiers, militia, self-defense forces and more than 1,200 specialized vehicles and equipment had been put on standby and deployed in key areas, ready to mobilize for rescue. More than 22,700 out of a total of 23,307 ships and boats of 5 provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue City had safely anchored.
Units of Military Region 4 strictly maintain combat readiness, regularly organize alarms, inspect the work of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; closely coordinate with Party committees, authorities and police, border guards, and militia forces in localities, organize to help people reinforce houses, reinforce constructions, anchor boats, and evacuate people in dangerous areas to safety; minimize damage to people and property before the storm makes landfall.
