Focus on developing Party members among students.

To build a young workforce that is both politically committed and professionally competent, possessing knowledge, ideals, and a desire to contribute, the Party Branch of Lam Kinh High School has focused on educating students about revolutionary ideals and cultivating their political character from their time in school; at the same time, it has paid attention to identifying and developing potential Party members among students.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Dao, Party Secretary and Principal of the school, said: “Developing Party members among students is a long-term task aimed at fostering revolutionary ideals and building a generation of young people with strong political convictions and a sense of responsibility towards society and the country. The school is determined to strictly adhere to the process from sourcing and training to practical experience to ensure the quality of Party members.”

Accordingly, the school's Party branch directed the Youth Union to develop a plan for recruiting new members right from the beginning of the school year; regularly reviewing and identifying students with outstanding achievements in academics and training, actively participating in social movements and activities, and possessing the right motivation to strive for excellence. The selection of outstanding Youth Union members is carried out openly and democratically, linked to the students' comprehensive development. Students recommended to attend the Party awareness class must not only have good academic performance but also demonstrate a sense of responsibility to the collective, a sense of organizational discipline, good morals, a healthy lifestyle, and a positive influence on students throughout the school.

To enhance the effectiveness of political and ideological education , the school regularly organizes traditional education activities and thematic discussions on the history of the Party, national history, and the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; integrating revolutionary ideals education through extracurricular activities, trips to historical sites, the "Gratitude and Remembrance" movement, and community volunteer activities. Through these activities, students are not only equipped with knowledge but also nurtured with patriotism, a sense of responsibility to the community, and a desire to contribute. Many students have clearly demonstrated their pioneering role in academics, youth union activities, and youth movements.

Furthermore, the school's Party branch places special emphasis on assigning tasks to outstanding Youth Union members, allowing them to be challenged and trained in practical situations. They are assigned to participate in organizing activities, supporting classmates in difficult circumstances, participating in volunteer programs, and building a green, clean, and beautiful school environment. Through these activities, many students have shown significant growth in political awareness, life skills, and a sense of responsibility.

Teacher Nguyen Minh Dao emphasized: "The Party branch's viewpoint is that developing Party members must go hand in hand with improving quality. We shouldn't chase after quantity, but rather select students who are truly outstanding in academics, ethics, organizational discipline, and dedication. Young Party members, after being admitted, must continue to play a role model for students."

Thanks to the close attention and guidance of the Party branch, the work of developing Party members among students at Lam Kinh High School has achieved many positive results. The school has organized many training courses on Party awareness for many outstanding Youth Union members. Through the process of learning, training, and challenges, many exemplary students have had the honor of joining the ranks of the Party.

According to school statistics, the number of outstanding students receiving Party awareness training in recent years has ranged from 25 to 44. Specifically, there were 25 students in the 2021-2022 school year; this increased to 44 students in the 2023-2024 school year; 38 students in the 2024-2025 school year; and 35 students in the 2025-2026 school year. These results demonstrate the increasing awareness and motivation of students to join the Party, reflecting the effectiveness of political and ideological education in the school.

For students, being admitted to the Party while still in school is a great honor and also a motivation to continue striving in their studies, training, and self-improvement.

Le Thu Hang, a student in class 12A2 who was honored to be admitted to the Party in the 2025-2026 school year, shared: “Being in the ranks of the Party is a very meaningful milestone for me. This is not only a source of pride but also a responsibility for me to continue striving in my studies and living more responsibly towards myself, my family, and society.”

Practical experience at Lam Kinh High School shows that the work of developing Party members among students not only contributes to building a clean and strong Party organization but also creates a comprehensive educational environment, helping students to have correct ideals in life, motivation to strive, and a sense of responsibility to the community.

Without chasing after achievements or lowering standards, the Party Branch of Lam Kinh High School consistently adheres to the principle of using quality as the benchmark in Party development work. This serious and systematic approach has contributed to improving the overall quality of education and building a school environment rich in ideals, responsibility, and a desire to contribute. The focus on developing Party members among students at Lam Kinh High School is the right direction, in line with current practical requirements. This is not only a task in Party building but also carries long-term strategic significance in training a generation of young people who are both politically sound and professionally competent, contributing to building a young workforce with political acumen, knowledge, and a desire to develop the country in the new era.
