Due to the effects of hot weather, intense heat, and exceptionally intense heat combined with low humidity, there is a high risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased electricity demand, and a risk of forest fires. In addition, hot weather can cause dehydration when people are exposed to high temperatures for extended periods. Note: the temperature forecast in heatwave reports and the actual perceived temperature outdoors may differ by 2-4 degrees, or even more, depending on the surface conditions such as concrete or asphalt. |
