The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just officially issued a Decision allowing the organization of Vietnam Film Week in Greece in 2025.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism allows the Vietnam Film Institute to coordinate with the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece and New Star Art Cinema to organize the Vietnamese Film Week in Greece in 2025. The event will take place from May 10-20 in the capital Athens and the city of Thessaloniki, Greece.
During the program, the organizers will screen films introducing the country and people of Vietnam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Greece and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
Some typical films include: documentary “Ho Chi Minh - Journey to create a culture of peace,” feature film “Don't burn,” feature film “Legend writers,” feature film “Life,” feature film “I see yellow flowers on green grass,” feature film “Red dawn,” feature film “Peach, pho and piano.”
In particular, the film rich in historical, cultural and human civilizational values "Ho Chi Minh - Journey to create a culture of peace" uses many valuable documents about President Ho Chi Minh, combined with interviews with famous Vietnamese historical and cultural experts such as: Professor Hoang Chi Bao (Former member of the Central Theoretical Council, senior expert of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics); Ambassador, Professor Vu Duong Huan (Former Director of the Diplomatic Academy); Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga (Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations) ...; interviews with French experts and historians such as: Daniel Héméry, Alain Ruscio, Pierre Brocheux, Pierre Journoud ...

The valuable materials of the documentary have brought to the audience an objective, multi-dimensional, and convincing perspective. At the same time, it successfully expressed and portrayed the image of President Ho Chi Minh - the architect of the construction and development of Vietnamese culture.
The Ministry of Culture requests the Vietnam Film Institute, the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece and New Star Art Cinema not to provide films to other units or exploit them in any form without permission from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism./.
