71 years of liberation, Hanoi retains its heritage beauty in the modern flow

In early October, Hanoi entered a special atmosphere towards the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025). Amidst the modern flow, Hoan Kiem Old Quarter still retains its quiet beauty, becoming a place where the community comes together to explore heritage, especially the young generation.

On the occasion of this year's anniversary, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem Ward coordinated with many units to organize the program "Full Moon in the Old Quarter - Hanoi in me" with a series of cultural, artistic and experiential activities. People and tourists can immerse themselves in the Mid-Autumn Festival, participate in making folk toys, enjoy specialties and explore ancient cultural spaces.

In particular, the application of digital technology to live stream the journey to explore the old town has helped spread the value of heritage to a large community, especially the youth. For young people, experiencing, participating directly or interacting through digital platforms makes heritage no longer a distant thing, but a part of daily life. Every street corner, every dish, every handicraft product is a story about Hanoi - a place where memories, creativity and aspirations converge.
