The stations perform correctly and fully according to the technical list prescribed by the Ministry of Health in the work of initial medical examination and treatment for the people.

Quang Ngai province currently has 272 health stations, 01 Dang Thuy Tram Infirmary and 03 Regional General Clinics. 100% of communes have health stations and 100% of stations have doctors working. All health stations are invested in facilities, equipment and human resources, well meeting the initial medical examination and treatment needs of the people. The ratio of doctors per 10,000 people in the whole province is 9.66 people. Over 95% of people participate in health insurance, more than 90% of children under 1 year old are fully vaccinated with 6 basic vaccines. Disease prevention and control work is proactively and effectively implemented. Population work, maternal and child health care, and reducing the rate of malnourished children are better implemented.

Quang Ngai's health sector aims to have 100% of commune-level administrative units meet national health standards by the end of 2025; at the same time, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level, especially in remote and isolated areas, contributing to narrowing the gap in access to health services.
