On the afternoon of December 9th, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel matters.
At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department, announced the Politburo 's decision on personnel matters. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai ceased his participation in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, and relinquished his position as Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.
Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer of Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.
The Politburo assigned Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and appointed him to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2020-2025 term.
At the ceremony, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung stated that Mr. Nguyen Long Hai received a solid education, holds a doctorate in law, and rose through the ranks from the grassroots level.

In all his positions, Mr. Hai has consistently performed his duties well, making significant contributions to the achievements of his workplace.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai pledged to dedicate himself wholeheartedly to the common good, strive to improve himself, promote unity and solidarity, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and focus intensely on completing assigned tasks.
Previously, Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the National Assembly as a member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and Secretary General of the National Assembly.
Mr. Nguyen Long Hai (48 years old), originally from Phu Tho province; professional qualifications: Doctor of Law; political theory level: advanced.
Mr. Nguyen Long Hai previously held positions such as Deputy Chief and then Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Youth Union; Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Standing Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Secretary General of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Chairman of the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province; and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province.
From 2021 to the present, Mr. Hai has been an alternate member of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.
