Conducted over 12 months, Trend 26+ brings together the contributions of 45 experts, including 13 experts from the Asia- Pacific region.
The combination of global and local perspectives helps the publication not only forecast, but also demonstrate the creativity and initiative of experts and architects in our country's interior design industry.
Sharing at the event, Chairman of the Vietnam Furniture Association Le Truong commented: “Trends are not something that is born naturally but are the result of a process of observation, selection and intentional creation. With design, trends are not just something new but must reflect the identity, social needs and spirit of the times. The formation of Vietnamese design trends requires a connection between expertise, creativity and cultural context.”

With 552 pages and a limited edition of 5,000 copies, the publication introduces 31 prominent trends that are forecast to lead the architectural interior industry in the period from 2026-2030.
The book focuses on three main trends that represent profound changes in design thinking and consumer behavior: sustainability and greening; personalization and humanization; and technology integration.
According to Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Architects Hoang Thuc Hao, the Vietnamese interior architecture industry is developing rapidly, but there is no in-depth and systematic document to predict and shape long-term trends.
The emergence of Trend 26+ not only marks the birth of a reliable in-depth project for professionals, but also attracts public attention, opening a series of activities to promote connections in the industry, update trends and develop domestic creativity. Thereby, contributing to building an increasingly dynamic and unique Vietnamese furniture industry.

" The world does not only need iconic buildings, but also humble buildings that coexist with nature and reflect local culture. That is a sustainable direction and also a global trend that can completely become the identity of Vietnamese architecture," said architect Hoang Thuc Hao.
More than just aesthetic choices, these trends are a reflection of sustainable living values, personal identity, and contemporary socio-technological movements.
“Behind this book is the desire to create a Vietnamese architectural style. Many architects want to create a Vietnamese style but lack Vietnamese materials. Trend 26+ is the first step in providing data and design materials to gradually reduce the trend of foreign worship, towards a clearer identity for Vietnamese interiors,” Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hong Cuong, Head of the Department of Interior Design, Hanoi University of Architecture, added.
