Launching the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII

DNO - On the morning of March 16th, the Customs Department ( Ministry of Finance ) held a conference to announce the organizational structure and personnel work at the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII. Attending the conference were Deputy Director of the Customs Department Tran Duc Hung and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Chi Cuong.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong said that, along with the development of Da Nang , the former City Customs Department has made positive contributions in facilitating import and export business activities, passenger entry and exit; state budget revenue collection; and the development of customs-business partnerships and other relevant parties.

In the coming period, to implement the specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city, the role of the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII will continue to be enhanced, especially in participating in the city's projects and programs such as the construction and implementation of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone project, Lien Chieu port, airport cargo terminal, warehouses, logistics centers, industrial clusters, marina projects, high-tech agricultural zone projects, etc.

City leaders believe that the reorganization of the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII will help to strengthen and develop trade, service, and logistics activities; thereby creating a foundation and potential for the development of localities.

According to the decisions of the Customs Department regarding the appointment of personnel for the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII, from March 15, 2025, Mr. Duong Xuan Sinh, Director of the Quang Nam Provincial Customs Department, will hold the position of Director of the Customs Sub-Department of Region XII.

The Deputy Heads of the Customs Sub-departments include: Mr. Tran Van Anh (Deputy Head of Da Nang Customs Department); Mr. Pham Duy Nhat (Deputy Head of Da Nang Customs Department); Ms. Dang Thi Le Hoa (Deputy Head of Da Nang Customs Department); Mr. Nguyen Van Duong (Deputy Head of Quang Nam Customs Department); Mr. Tran Ngoc Duc (Deputy Head of Quang Nam Customs Department) and Mr. Huynh Van Cuong (Deputy Head of Quang Ngai Customs Department).

The Customs Sub-Department of Region XII manages the area of ​​3 provinces and cities: Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai; its headquarters are located in Da Nang. The Sub-Department comprises 7 subordinate departments and 8 customs units at border gates/non-border gates.
