The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Decision No. 150 on the first review of anti-dumping measures against certain prestressed steel cable products originating from Malaysia, Thailand, and China. The decision was issued based on the provisions of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Government Decree No. 86/2025.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Trade Remedies Department has received a request for review from a Chinese manufacturing company. After reviewing the application and finding it valid in accordance with the law, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided to conduct a review to reassess the extent and necessity of the anti-dumping measures currently in place.
The review is conducted periodically to ensure that trade defense measures are applied fairly, in accordance with market practices, and to harmonize the interests of domestic businesses and stakeholders.
To ensure the protection of legitimate rights and interests, the Trade Remedies Department requests that relevant organizations and individuals register their participation in the case within 60 working days from the effective date of the decision. The deadline for registering interested parties is April 22, 2026.
