This festival has the participation of 600 artisans, actors, athletes from ethnic groups in the Central Highlands provinces and 675 police officers and soldiers participating in the performance.
Speaking at the festival, General To Lam highly appreciated the organization of the festival of the Central Highlands ethnic groups to promote cultural values contributing to the sustainable development of the Central Highlands.
The General also hopes that localities will continue to pay attention to implementing the policies of the Party and State, preserving and promoting cultural values, fine traditions, historical and cultural relics, world heritages , and special national relics, and promoting the role of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands in developing traditional culture.
Thereby creating all conditions to enhance the level of enjoyment and participation in cultural creative activities of the people; harmoniously combining the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values with sustainable economic and tourism development activities.

The first Cultural - Sports - Tourism Festival of the Central Highlands ethnic groups in 2023 in Kon Tum will be held from November 29 to December 1, 2023, including many unique cultural, sports and tourism activities held together in Kon Tum province.
Activities aim to create national unity and promote the fine traditional cultural values of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands.
Thereby, contributing to preserving and raising the sense of responsibility of ethnic communities in building and developing Vietnamese culture and people; propagating and promoting the potential and advantages of the Central Highlands provinces, attracting tourism development and other fields.
