These days, the area around Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street (Cho Lon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) - known as the "capital" of Tet decorations - is bustling with locals and tourists visiting, taking photos, and shopping.

The space is filled with the two main colors, red and yellow, from hundreds of shops selling Tet decorations. Observations at many shops show a steady and bustling flow of customers, especially on weekends and evenings. Besides wholesale and retail orders from customers buying directly, many shops are also busy packing online orders to ship to provinces and cities.

Ms. Thu Trang (Go Vap ward, Ho Chi Minh City) couldn't hide her excitement on her first visit to the city's most vibrant street selling Tet decorations. "I've prepared an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) for photos and chosen many Tet decorations that I really like for my new house," she said excitedly, holding up some red lanterns she'd selected from a shop.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Hung (Phu Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) still maintains the habit of visiting Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street every year, both to sightsee and to buy Tet decorations. This year, he chose two strings of decorative firecrackers and a beautifully painted "lucky" character.

As usual, each year of the zodiac brings new products. This year, with the horse as the zodiac animal, the decorative items are diverse in size and material, ranging from miniature scenes and table decorations to door hangings. Another highlight is the abundance of traditional decorations. These include decorative bamboo trays of various sizes, painted with vibrant images or adorned with phrases like "Happy New Year," "May all your wishes come true," and "May you be blessed with wealth and prosperity."
