According to Engadget , this is an interesting change, as Samsung's Galaxy S24 series launch event is taking place shortly after the CES 2024 technology exhibition concludes. Typically, Samsung holds its Galaxy S series launch event in the first week of February. It's highly likely the event will be held at the SAP Convention Center in San Jose, USA, and will be live-streamed on various Samsung channels, including YouTube.
Samsung announces the date for its next Unpacked event.
Although Samsung hasn't confirmed the presence of products at the upcoming Unpacked event, it wouldn't be surprising if the company announced the flagship Galaxy S24 series smartphones and opened pre-orders immediately after the event. To do this, the company has started a "pre-order" program, where customers fill in their name and email address to pre-order. In this case, customers can receive incentives from the company, such as a $50 discount, similar to what they offered during previous product launches.
Last year, the Galaxy S23 series was considered only a minor upgrade over its predecessor, so the Galaxy S24 series is generating much higher expectations. This product line is expected to include numerous artificial intelligence (AI) features to enhance the user experience.
Samsung also tends to announce new laptop models at its first Unpacked event each year, so it's possible the Galaxy Book4 or something similar will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S24 series.
