According to a representative of Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company, from the beginning of the year to the end of November, the company produced 2.12 million tons of steel billets, reaching 93% of the yearly plan, up 27% over the same period in 2023. Finished steel products reached 1.9 million tons, equal to 97% of the yearly plan, up 6% over the same period last year. The reason for the increase in steel output is that in 2024, the company completed repairs and put a blast furnace back into operation, and at the same time, market consumption was also better than before.

In addition to supplying the domestic market, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company has exported 115,000 tons of steel billets and 395,000 tons of finished steel products. The company's main export markets are South Korea, the US, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong (China) and Southeast Asian countries. Currently, the company is actively preparing conditions to increase exports to the European market.

In 2024, Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company invested in a number of environmental protection projects and exhaust gas treatment equipment systems with a total investment of over 300 billion VND.
