Ready to ensure the supply of E10 bioethanol fuel.

Based on Directive 07/CT-TTg dated February 26, 2026, of the Prime Minister on promoting the production, blending, distribution, and use of fuel in Vietnam; and Resolution 391/PLX-NQ-HĐQT of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex/Corporation) on the implementation of the business of bioethanol and level 5 fuel in Dong Thap province, Petrolimex Dong Thap Company Limited (Petrolimex Dong Thap/Company) is actively implementing the conversion to the business of E10 bioethanol throughout its entire distribution system.

According to the plan, from June 1, 2026, Petrolimex Dong Thap will officially cease selling mineral gasoline at its depots and affiliated gas stations to switch to selling E10 bioethanol gasoline.

Petrolimex Dong Thap is ready to ensure the supply of E10 bioethanol fuel.

This is a significant step in the company's sustainable development orientation; at the same time, it contributes to the local government's efforts to achieve green growth, protect the environment, and raise awareness of environmentally friendly fuel use within the community.

E10 bioethanol is a fuel blended from mineral gasoline and 10% bioethanol.

According to technical experts, using E10 gasoline helps the fuel combustion process in engines to be more efficient, contributing to a reduction in harmful emissions into the environment while still ensuring stable operation for most vehicles today.

To prepare for the transition and ensure a sufficient, timely, and high-quality supply of E10 bioethanol throughout the distribution system, Petrolimex Dong Thap has proactively invested in, upgraded, and improved its infrastructure, technology systems, tanks, transportation vehicles, and technical capabilities to ensure the implementation is carried out synchronously, safely, and effectively.

Simultaneously, the company is also stepping up its communication efforts to help customers and consumers better understand the quality, safety, and benefits of E10 bioethanol; and is closely coordinating and effectively implementing the directives of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Thap province and other relevant agencies during the implementation process.

As the largest petroleum distribution company in the province, Petrolimex Dong Thap is playing a pioneering role in bringing E10 bioethanol closer to the people and is receiving significant attention from the public.

To date, with a distribution system of over 200 fuel retail outlets spread throughout the province, E10 bioethanol fuel is sold at most Petrolimex Dong Thap stores, effectively meeting the fuel consumption needs of people and businesses.

With the advantage of having a large storage system with a capacity of over 15 million liters and a widespread distribution network, Petrolimex Dong Thap is considered a key unit in ensuring a stable supply of E10 gasoline for the market.

The launch of E10 bioethanol fuel not only demonstrates Petrolimex Dong Thap's pioneering role in the clean energy transition but also contributes to spreading the message of using environmentally friendly fuels, aiming for sustainable development.

In the coming period, Petrolimex Dong Thap will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to strengthen communication efforts, ensure stable supply, maintain product quality, and effectively serve the consumption needs of people in the province.

According to the next steps, the company will organize the business of E10 Ron 95-V bioethanol fuel and continue to research and develop new, higher-end products such as E10 RON 97 gasoline, in accordance with the Group's directives.
