At the inaugural World Cup with 48 teams, BC Place will host a total of seven matches, including group stage and knockout rounds. It will also be the venue where the Canadian national team will play two home games.

Located in the heart of Vancouver, BC Place has a capacity of approximately 54,000 spectators and is notable for its modern retractable roof system.
