At nearly 9:00 a.m., the company listed the price of SJC gold bars at 118.1-118.7 million VND/tael (buy) and 120.7 million VND/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of the previous day.
The price of gold rings also remained unchanged. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price at VND114.3 million/tael (buy) - VND116.9 million/tael (sell), unchanged from the end of yesterday.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited continues to set the price at 115.5 million VND/tael (buy) - 118.5 million VND/tael (sell).
Meanwhile, Phu Quy Group lowered 200,000 VND/tael each way, to 114.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 117.3 million VND/tael (sell).
The buying-selling price range commonly given by businesses is 2-3 million VND/tael.
Previously, yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars initially increased by 800,000 VND/tael, to the selling price of 120.3 million VND/tael, then "increased" to 120.7 million VND/tael, a total increase of 1.2 million VND/tael.
The price of gold rings also moved similarly but at a slower rate. In the international market, early this morning the price of gold was trading at 3,343 USD/ounce, compared to 3,312 at the same time the previous day.
Gold prices rose amid falling US dollar and US bond yields. At 9am, the international gold price was trading at 3,330.5 USD/ounce, about 15.2 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
