At construction material stores, the number of customers increased many times compared to normal. Most stores had to mobilize all their staff and work overtime to promptly serve people's needs.

Hoang Hai Construction Materials Store (Hoang Gia Anh Company Limited - Thanh Sen Ward) is bustling with customers these days. The most consumed items are roofing sheets, ceiling sheets and steel pipes.

Ms. Dang Thi Tho - Chief Accountant of Hoang Gia Anh Company Limited said: "Our 6 steel and iron selling facilities in the whole province have all opened to serve customers right after the storm. Currently, there are more than 500 tons of goods in stock to promptly meet customer demand. The current price of steel ranges from 60,000 - 180,000 VND/m² depending on the type. We are committed to ensuring stable prices, absolutely no price increases".

At tile shops, the buying and selling atmosphere is no less exciting. The owner of Thanh Hai tile dealer (Ha Huy Tap ward) said that the number of customers coming to buy roofing tiles and roofing tiles has increased dramatically, and sales are non-stop.

Through the survey, the stores are committed to ensuring stable prices and sufficient products to serve customers.

Some dealers have also proactively reduced prices or supported shipping costs, showing solidarity and sharing difficulties with people in storm-hit areas.

Not only houses, many businesses and offices were also severely damaged, especially advertising and signboard systems. Companies specializing in printing and signboard construction are operating at full capacity to repair and reprocess products for customers.

Mr. Le Hong Quy - Director of Quy Le Company Limited (Thanh Sen Ward) said: "Currently, we are focusing on repairing signs for our partners whose signs were damaged after the storm. Many LED signs are seriously damaged, with repair costs of up to tens of millions of VND. However, the company tries to limit the number of new ones and prioritizes repairs to minimize costs for customers."

Common repair items include: re-gluing LEDs, lettering, repairing iron frames, reprinting banners... Service prices range from several hundred thousand to tens of millions of VND, depending on the scale and material of the billboard.

Along with hardware stores and advertising agencies, mechanics, roofers and electricians also have busy days.

While busy welding a metal roof for a customer, Mr. Bien Van Thang - a mechanic in Thanh Sen ward shared: "Many customers call to hire us to rebuild roofs, patio covers... but we only accept orders within our capacity to avoid being late due to overload."

It is very difficult to find workers now. I am willing to pay a higher price to re-roof my house, especially when I heard that there is a tropical depression forecast."

Some localities have deployed militia, police, and youth union members to residential areas to help repair houses.
