According to local statistics, due to the impact of storm No. 5, in Dong Thanh commune, 25 houses had their corrugated iron roofs blown off, 10 livestock barns were damaged; 700 hectares of rice fields were damaged, the extent of damage has not been determined; 0.5 hectares of fruit trees were damaged.
In the commune, Hong Thanh Primary School, Ho Tong Thoc Primary School and Do Thanh Secondary School had many damaged items.
