As of yesterday (July 26), the Dutch strategist expressed his opinion on his personal page. Sharing on Instagram, Coach Gerald Vanenburg affirmed: “After the impressive victory against U23 Thailand, we will review everything to draw valuable experience.
I believe that U23 Indonesia is on the right track. However, we still have an important step, which is the final match with U23 Vietnam. This is the most important step for U23 Indonesia."
At the press conference, assistant Frank van Kempen commented on the strength of U23 Vietnam: “They are a strong team. I have not watched all of their matches in this tournament, only a few. I see that U23 Vietnam is very good. U23 Indonesia will prepare as best as possible before the final match.”

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ardiansyah assessed U23 Vietnam: “We are ready to enter the final match. If we have to play penalties, the chances of both teams are 50-50. However, we will try to solve the opponent in 90 minutes.”
The final match of the U23 Southeast Asian Championship between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29. U23 Vietnam is currently the most successful team in the tournament with two consecutive championships in 2022 and 2023. Coach Kim Sang Sik's team is aiming for a hat-trick of championships in the U23 Southeast Asian Championship.
