Mr. Tran Minh Duc, Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue Young Entrepreneurs Association, receives fish from ship owners.

In addition to the above quantity, the Thua Thien Hue Young Entrepreneurs Association is currently continuing to dry and vacuum-pack nearly a thousand more bags of fish to send in the next few days. The total number of these products is processed from 2 tons of fresh mackerel.

In order to have the above products in time to send, in recent days, the members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association and many volunteers and youth union members have been racing against time to complete many stages. Last night, at Kim Dong Park, many CEOs and students volunteered to work late into the night. Some put the fish in plastic bags, some vacuumed them, some packed the fish into boxes...

No one hesitated to do anything, everyone did their best. Volunteer Van Anh confided: "I am grateful to the Young Entrepreneurs Association for their meaningful activities, helping me contribute and share with the people of the Northern provinces."

Not only contributing money and working days, many young entrepreneurs also mobilized the company's force to contribute. Mr. Mai Quoc Bao, a member of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, confided that everyone is the same, when compatriots are in trouble, they join hands, contribute labor and money to help and share. "I don't mind doing anything, I just hope to be able to help more than this," Mr. Bao shared.

Young volunteers grill fish before drying and vacuum-sealing

Sharing a meaningful way of doing it, Mr. Tran Duc Minh, Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, analyzed that if we support other products, it will be difficult to preserve, not to mention that many areas do not have electricity or water, making it difficult for people to use. But if there is dried fish marinated with spices, people can eat it directly, eat it with noodles, eat it with rice, and make banh chung, all delicious. Moreover, this is also a nutritious dish, ensuring the health of people, after many days of fighting against storms and floods. "Agreeing on the idea, the members of the Young Entrepreneurs Association immediately started to implement it," said Mr. Minh.

To ensure that the products delivered to consumers are made from fresh and delicious fish, and the price of raw materials must be suitable to save transportation costs, Mr. Minh himself went to Thuan An port to work with the ship owner to buy at the original price. After the ship docked, the fish were immediately transported to the assembly point, mobilized by the youth volunteer group and local people to clean, marinate and grill directly on charcoal. Next, they were dried and put into plastic bags to be vacuum-sealed. "With this method, the product will be preserved for a very long time," Mr. Minh shared.
