Manchester United avoided defeat in their away match against West Ham United in the 26th round of the Premier League on the morning of February 11th thanks to a late moment of brilliance from Benjamin Šeško.

West Ham entered the match with a certain degree of confidence, having recently improved their form. The home side created an early opportunity with a header from Jarrod Bowen following a speedy cross from Crysencio Summerville, before Summerville himself forced goalkeeper Senne Lammens into a diving save with a skillful finish.

The visitors continued to increase the pressure in the final minutes, with chances going to Bryan Mbeumo and Joshua Zirkzee.

Just when West Ham thought they had secured all three points, Manchester United unexpectedly equalized in the sixth minute of added time. From a cross from the right wing by Mbeumo, Šeško made a skillful run and a delicate touch, sending the ball straight into the top corner of the net.

The 1-1 draw helped MU extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to nine matches, maintaining their position in the top four. Meanwhile, West Ham continues to struggle in the relegation battle, still unable to move away from the bottom of the table.
