Candidates enthusiastically guess the topic of the graduation exam literature

Although there is no longer a scene of speculating about the text that will appear in the literature essay, in reality, at the exam site, many candidates said they were still excited about speculating - this time on the topic of the social essay question, which is worth 4/10 points.

"We don't have to memorize works anymore, but we still get to review certain topics and do them over and over again to get used to the format," Nguyen Trung Huy, a student at Suong Nguyet Anh Secondary and High School (HCMC), shared when talking about reviewing literature for this year's high school graduation exam.

Huy added that he especially reviewed some topics such as AI (artificial intelligence), the era of rising and the challenges of youth. "I guess the topic of the era of rising is because this is a topic that reflects the breath of the times and the essay topic will usually stick to reality. I also prepared some evidence related to this topic," Huy said.

This is the first time that the high school graduation exam has literature test materials that are not in the textbooks.

Meanwhile, Le Hoang Thinh, a student at Nguyen Du High School (HCMC), has high hopes for the topic of AI in particular and technology in general, because this has been a particularly "hot" field recently.

"In general, I don't review a topic too thoroughly, I mainly just consider it a reference to have the best preparation," Thinh emphasized. "I hope the questions will be within my ability and I can get 6-7 points in literature," the male student who chose to take the math-physics-English combination exam confided.

Meanwhile, Ngo Gia Tu Anh, a student at Nguyen An Ninh High School (HCMC), said that although the literature exam no longer uses materials from textbooks, he can still prepare evidence for some topics, often related to social life. "In previous years, we still studied according to the same topics and the evidence can be flexibly used in the same topic, whether talking about the nature of phenomena or moral ideology," Tu Anh said.

"I want the discussion to be on the topic of country and love for the nation, with real stories from young people such as the Skyline group using AI technology to restore thousands of images of war invalids and martyrs or Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung who carried out the "Nuoi em" project to cook for children in the mountains," the female student said, adding: "I also have to review the types of questions carefully and improve my vocabulary through articles and essays to be best prepared."
