The final round ofFPT Hackathon 2025 took place simultaneously nationwide, gathering the 28 best teams selected from 131 teams from 35 universities and colleges to compete with AI, IoT and embedded chip application solutions to solve smart logistics problems.

Students completed the coding test for 27 consecutive hours.
During the two days of competition, the teams underwent 27 hours of continuous programming to develop ideas and integrate technology into robot products to solve the requirements set by the organizers.
Next, the product was put into the driving test, where the robot had to prove its ability to operate in a realistic simulation environment. These challenges turned the final round into a true battle of wits, requiring solid programming skills, constant creativity and persistent team spirit from the young people.
At the final round, in group A (for universities), representatives from FPT University won 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 4 promising prizes in all 3 regions.
University of Information Technology - Ho Chi Minh City National University won 1 first prize and 1 second prize in Ho Chi Minh City area, University of Technology - Danang University won 2nd prize in Danang area.

At the end of the coding competition, the teams took a test drive to prove that the robot can operate effectively in a real environment.
In group B for college students in the Hanoi area, BTEC FPT British College won first prize, FPT International Training Institute won second prize and 1 promising prize, FPT Polytechnic won third prize and 1 promising prize.
In the Ho Chi Minh City area, FPT Polytechnic broke through with a complete achievement including first, second, third prizes and 2 promising prizes. In the Da Nang area, FPT Polytechnic continued to make its mark with first, second and 2 promising prizes.
The first prize teams were awarded 15 million VND in cash by the organizers, 10 million VND for second prize, 5 million VND for third prize and 3 million VND for prospective prize each.
In particular, FPT Edge-Vision team (FPT University, Hanoi) and Peter Paka team (FPT Polytechnic College, Ho Chi Minh City) were selected to visit and have a special experience at VinFast automobile factory (Hai Phong) - one of the leading modern automobile and electric vehicle manufacturing centers in Vietnam.

FPT Edge-Vision is one of two representatives of FPT University to be awarded the Champion prize.
FPT Hackathon is a nationwide programming competition for students organized by FPT University. The competition has gone through 5 successful seasons with the following topics: Internet of Things (IoT, Make It Happen, 2018), Environment (2019), Using AI to recognize images (2021), Blockchain (2022) and Generative AI (2024). 2025 is the first time the competition is open to students at universities and colleges nationwide.
This is a playground to help nurture creative ideas, encourage the spirit of research and entrepreneurship and create conditions for students to develop highly applicable products, ready to bring to market. The competition is accompanied by the National Center for Supporting Creative Startups, leading technology companies such as FPT Software AI, FPT Smart Cloud and experts in the field of startups and logistics.
Ms. Pham Tuyet Hanh Ha - Head of the School Affairs Department of FPT University and Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said that the convergence of universities and colleges at the contest not only brings opportunities to exchange, learn and share knowledge, but also encourages the spirit of exploring and conquering new areas of knowledge together.
