Sinner in the same semi-final bracket with Djokovic, Zverev at Roland Garros

Roland Garros 2025 takes place in Paris (France) from May 25 to June 8, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the two top seeds of the tournament, can only meet in the final. However, the semifinal bracket of these two stars is different in difficulty.

Jannik Sinner will play his first match against home player Arthur Rinderknech. Sinner will have no trouble reaching the fourth round, where his potential opponents are Arthur Fils or Andrey Rublev.

Sinner's likely quarter-final opponents could be world No. 9 Alex de Minaur or No. 5 seed Jack Draper. Djokovic and Zverev are the two most likely semi-final opponents for Sinner.

Djokovic will start his campaign against Mackenzie McDonald in the first round. The Serbian star could face Corentin Moutet or a qualifier (round 2), then Denis Shapovalov or Yunchaokete Bu (round 3). In the fourth round, Nole's potential opponent is Daniil Medevdev.

If Djokovic makes it to the quarterfinals, he will likely meet Zverev, who reached the final of Roland Garros 2024. And if he wins five matches, Djokovic is expected to face Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals, the opponent leading the ATP rankings and the top candidate for the championship.

Unlike Sinner, Alcaraz has an easier draw. The Spaniard will open his play with Kei Nishikori in round 1. In round 2, Alcaraz's opponent could be Luca Nardi or Fabian Marozsan.

If he makes it to the third round, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is Alcaraz's potential opponent. The Spaniard faces a slightly tougher challenge as his fourth round opponent is likely to be Ben Shelton or Stefanos Tsitsipas.

If Alcaraz wins all four matches, he could face Casper Ruud, a two-time Roland Garros finalist (2022, 2023), in the quarterfinals. Alcaraz's two potential semifinal opponents are Hubert Hurkacz or Taylor Fritz.

If he can maintain his form on clay, Alcaraz has a chance to advance to the 2025 Roland Garros final and look forward to facing Jannik Sinner, the opponent he defeated in the 2025 Italian Open final on May 18.
