The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just issued an urgent notice regarding a recent scam targeting parents of students, involving the return of tuition fees.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced that recently, some parents in Ho Chi Minh City have been scammed by phone calls or text messages using the tactic of impersonating staff from departments, offices, or schools, requesting them to prepare documents for tuition fee refunds according to regulations of the Politburo .
In fact, some parents have lost a considerable amount of money to this new scam. Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training advises all parents not to respond to strange text messages or phone calls and comply with any requests.
