The Department of Internal Affairs announces decisions regarding personnel matters.

On September 23, 2025, the Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City held a conference to announce and present decisions on personnel matters. Attending and directing the conference were Comrade Tran Thanh Liem - City Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Department's Party Committee, Acting Director of the Department of Internal Affairs; Comrade Tieu Minh Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs; leaders of departments, divisions, and units under the Department of Internal Affairs; and all officials of the affiliated public service units of the Department of Internal Affairs.

In accordance with the policy on organizational restructuring , on September 17 , 2025, the People's Committee of Can Tho City issued Decision No. 1292 /QD-UBND merging the existing Can Tho City Employment Service Center, the Soc Trang Province Employment Service Center , and the Hau Giang Province Employment Service Center into the Can Tho City Employment Service Center. Under the direct authority of the Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City ; Decision No. 1293 /QD-UBND merges the existing Can Tho City Historical Archives Center (old), the Soc Trang Provincial Historical Archives Center and The Hau Giang Provincial Historical Archives Center was transformed into the Can Tho City Historical Archives Center , under the Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City ; Decision No. 1294 /QD-UBND merged the existing Cemetery Management Board and Funeral Home (under the former Department of Internal Affairs of Hau Giang Province) and the City Martyrs' Cemetery Management Board (under the former Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City) into the City Martyrs' Cemetery and Funeral Home Management Board, under the Department of Internal Affairs of Can Tho City .

At the conference, Mr. Le Trong Huong, Chief of the Office, announced Decision No. 8840/QD-SNV, No. 8862/QD-SNV, and No. 8863/QD-SNV dated September 23, 2025, of the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs regarding the reassignment of civil servants due to organizational restructuring, and 41 decisions on the reassignment and appointment of leaders of new units.

Accordingly, the Can Tho City Historical Archives Center is a public service unit that partially self-finances its operating expenses (Group 3), with an organizational structure including: the Center's leadership (Director and Deputy Director) and specialized departments. The Center's functions and tasks include: advising and assisting the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs in directly managing the city's historical archives; organizing the collection, arrangement, preservation, exploitation, use, and promotion of the value of archival documents from agencies, organizations, and units within the city; and providing public archival services in accordance with the law.

The Can Tho City Employment Service Center is a public service unit that partially self-finances its operating expenses (Group 3). Its organizational structure includes the Center's leadership (Director and Deputy Director) and specialized departments. The Can Tho City Employment Service Center functions to provide job counseling and placement services; supply and recruit labor according to the needs of employers; collect and provide information on the labor market; and receive unemployment insurance benefit applications for submission to competent state agencies for decision.

Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Acting Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, presented the Decision appointing the Head of the Committee and Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Martyrs' Cemetery and Funeral Home of Can Tho City

The Can Tho City Martyrs' Cemetery and Funeral Home Management Board is a public service unit whose operating expenses are guaranteed by the state (Group 4), without a departmental structure; it performs its duties under a hierarchical system with a head and specialists. The Can Tho City Martyrs' Cemetery and Funeral Home Management Board has the following functions and duties: receiving and organizing the burial of martyrs' remains; compiling lists and diagrams of martyrs' graves and the content of inscriptions on martyrs' tombstones; caring for, repairing, and preserving martyrs' graves; maintaining, beautifying, and ensuring that the Martyrs' Cemetery always has a solemn and dignified appearance; organizing funeral ceremonies for deceased officials, civil servants, and officers in the armed forces according to regulations; organizing funeral ceremonies and receiving cremation for Khmer people, officials, civil servants, and officers in the armed forces, and other eligible individuals (if any).

Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Thuy, Director of the Can Tho City Historical Archives Center, delivered a speech accepting her new position at the announcement ceremony.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Thuy, Director of the Can Tho City Historical Archives Center, expressed her gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in her by the Party Committee and the leadership of the Department of Internal Affairs. In her new position, she pledged to uphold political integrity, ethics, and lifestyle, to continuously improve her professional competence, sense of responsibility, and work ethic, and hoped to continue receiving the support of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Department of Internal Affairs.

With the attention and support of the Department's leadership and the entire Center staff, we have successfully completed the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Acting Director, congratulated the newly appointed officials on their new positions. He noted that the workload for the Ministry of Interior is currently very large. He hoped that the newly appointed officials would utilize their abilities and strengths, work together with the leadership team to continue making effective contributions and achieving many successes in their new roles. He also urged them to foster a spirit of unity, discipline, compassion, and responsibility, contributing to the increasingly strong and effective development of the Ministry of Interior.
