The Department of Health inspected and supervised the reception and distribution of rice to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and storm No. 11 in some communes in the province.

On October 13, a working delegation of the Department of Health led by Mr. Trieu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Health inspected and supervised the reception and distribution of rice to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10 and storm No. 11 in the communes of Hoa An, Quang Uyen, and Quang Han.

Comrade Trieu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Health inspected the transportation of rice to support people in areas affected by natural disasters in Hoa An commune.

Accordingly, Hoa An commune (14.5 tons), Quang Han (48.6 tons), Quang Uyen (56.5 tons) were provided. The rice support source was provided by the National Reserve Department to the People's Committee of Cao Bang province to be distributed to 29 communes and wards affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11, with a total of 600 tons of rice, divided into 2 distribution phases. Rice was provided to people at a rate of 15kg/person.

The working group focused on inspecting and supervising the overall direction and management of the local government in reviewing the needs, receiving and distributing rice to support people. At the same time, they compared the quality of sample rice and the actual rice received in the communes, checked the quantity and quality of rice distributed to some households, to ensure that the support was implemented according to the correct procedures, in sufficient quantity and meeting quality requirements. Through inspection, the work of receiving, transporting and distributing rice was carried out seriously, quickly and promptly.

Comrade Trieu Thanh Son , Deputy Director of the Department of Health and members of the delegation discussed with local government representatives about the work of receiving and distributing rice to support people in Quang Han commune.

Comrade Trieu Thanh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Health acknowledged the initiative and responsibility of the commune authorities and the Provincial Military Command in organizing the reception and distribution of rice support, and at the same time requested localities to continue to strictly implement the instructions and closely monitor the distribution process to avoid mistakes, ensuring that all people affected by natural disasters receive full support.

Checking and supervising the distribution of rice support is a practical activity to ensure that the State's relief resources reach the right beneficiaries, contributing to stabilizing people's lives after natural disasters and ensuring social security in Cao Bang province.

According to the plan from October 14 to 30, the Department of Health will continue to inspect and monitor the remaining communes in the province.
