Exciting 8th Loan Sport Open Badminton Tournament

After 2 days of exciting competition (February 24-25), at Phan Boi Chau High School, the 8th Loan Sport Open Badminton Tournament - 2024 ended with many impressions, contributing to raising the spirit of physical training for professional and amateur athletes.

This tournament attracted 120 athletes from districts and towns such as Phan Thiet City, La Gi Town, Ham Tan, Bac Binh and Ham Thuan Bac. The tournament was held to welcome the New Year of the Dragon 2024, as well as to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2024). At the same time, the tournament was organized to expand the badminton movement in Binh Thuan province, creating conditions for athletes to compete, rub shoulders, learn experience and practice health. It is known that this is an annual tournament of Loan Sport, also a form of socialized sports to develop the badminton movement in the whole province.

The 8th Badminton Open was held with 2 events: men's doubles and mixed doubles (the total age of the players is 80 years old or older). With the spirit of sportsmanship "unity - honesty - nobility", the athletes gave the audience good, dramatic and beautiful matches. In each event, the athletes had appropriate tactics and playing styles to achieve the best results.

This is an annual tournament, also a form of sports socialization to develop badminton movement in the whole province.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes, medals, and trophies to the athletes who achieved first, second, and third place in each category. In the Men's Doubles category, the Championship went to Thanh - Kim (Thong Ke Club); Second Prize went to Lam - Phuc (Thong Ke Club); Third Prize went to Truc - Thuan (So Giao Thong Van Tai Club) and Khuong - Dat (Quan Chuoi Club). In the Men's - Women's Doubles category, the Championship went to Vy - Sam (Thong Ke Club); Second Prize went to Lam - Ha (Thong Ke Club) and Third Prize went to Tien - Van (Phuoc Loc Club) and Luom - Quynh (Anh Em Club).
