Quickly resolve problems to speed up the progress of the Northwest Model Urban Area project

Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Truong Dong block Party Cell in implementing political tasks, socio-economic targets, collecting fees, funds, and mobilizing socialization to build institutions. Along with that is the propaganda work to mobilize people to implement the Northwest Model Urban Area project.

However, the project is currently facing difficulties in implementation progress. Many households subject to compensation have agreed to hand over the land but have not received the money, some households have received the money but have not yet received resettlement land... so they have continuously petitioned the competent authorities and at the meetings of voters of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the locality to continue to closely monitor the people's situation to avoid hot spots; to carry out tasks well in residential areas. He requested the Party Cell to fully implement regulations on Party activities, discipline and quality of Party members at the place of residence; to promote the exemplary role of Party members at the place of residence.

Regarding the Northwest Model Urban Area project, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet will direct the Provincial People's Committee to promptly resolve the project's problems in accordance with the provisions of law. Provincial leaders share the legitimate recommendations of the people at the project; at the same time, request the leaders of Tam Ky city, Tan Thanh ward and Truong Dong block to continue to grasp the thoughts and feelings of the people; pay attention to solving the need for jobs and creating livelihoods for people whose land has been recovered.

The leaders of the City Party Committee and People's Committee need to pay attention to urging investors to carry out their tasks. As for project investors, as soon as the province agrees on a solution, they must concentrate resources to implement it.
