1. In the context of Vietnam aiming for sustainable development, energy transition and Net Zero commitment by 2050, Song Da Cao Cuong Joint Stock Company (Song Da Cao Cuong) has been affirming its pioneering role as a science and technology enterprise in the field of ash and slag treatment and green construction materials (VLXD) production.
Faced with the reality of ash and slag from thermal power plants causing heavy pressure on the environment, Song Da Cao Cuong has chosen a bold direction: turning "waste" into "resource". With a total investment of nearly 400 billion VND, phase 1 of the project at Vinh Tan Power Center (Vinh Hao commune) has formed a modern ash and slag treatment line with a capacity of 750,000 tons/year as a way to mark and turn challenges into opportunities.
From here, products such as high-quality fly ash, high-quality selected coal, premixed dry mortar, tile adhesive, etc. were born, serving the domestic construction industry and exporting internationally. Along with that is the warehouse and import-export system at Vinh Tan International Port, ensuring trade connectivity and elevating the Vietnamese brand on the world map of construction materials. This achievement not only contributes to the complete handling of ash and slag backlog, but also proves a sustainable direction - when science and technology become the key to solving environmental problems.
Not stopping at the initial achievements, Song Da Cao Cuong is preparing to turn a new page: phase 2 with the "Green Construction Materials Factory Complex". With an expected investment capital of 1,520 billion VND in the period of 2026 - 2028, this project is expected to become a symbol of green industry in the country.

In addition, the implementation of the project "Research on treatment and application of dredged materials of Vinh Tan International Port and Vinh Tan Power Center combined with thermal power ash and slag to make concrete components for seawalls and marine and island projects" or "Design, manufacture, install and complete low-rise prefabricated houses for low-income workers in the province and provinces in the South Central and Central Highlands regions" of the company also has great significance.
On the one hand, the project helps to completely resolve the amount of ash and slag generated, minimizing the impact on the environment. On the other hand, it creates more jobs for local workers, promotes the development of supporting industries and contributes to the provincial budget. More importantly, this is a concrete step to realize Vietnam's Net Zero 2050 goal - when the circular economy and renewable energy become the foundation for development.
2. Meanwhile, at Nam Ha 2 Industrial Park in Tra Tan Commune, bordering Dong Nai Province, the HLI Eco-Hub Nam Ha project with a total capital of more than VND 1,700 billion on 27 hectares of factory of Hoa Long Invest is being built, meeting the requirements of multinational corporations when investing in Vietnam.
With more than 12 years of experience in developing ready-built factories, owning more than 120 hectares of factory funds for rent according to the comprehensive service model and LEED standard orientation nationwide, Hoa Long Invest is expected, through this project, to strongly contribute to Lam Dong's dual goal of attracting quality FDI associated with environmental protection, while at the same time, promoting local socio-economic growth.
Up to now, the HLI EcoHub Nam Ha project has completed phase 1 with 4.2 hectares of factory and is implementing phase 2 with 8.2 hectares of factory according to LEED standards. The products are designed flexibly and diversely, with an area of 5,000 m², suitable for many different production models. The project is expected to attract about 150 FDI enterprises in the textile, food, electronics industries... Thereby, forming a close production network with major partners from Taiwan, Japan, China and many other countries and territories.

Therefore, HLI EcoHub Nam Ha is expected to create a breakthrough in attracting FDI capital, contributing positively to the budget, and at the same time, opening up thousands of local job opportunities for people in Tra Tan commune and neighboring areas. Not stopping there, the project also creates a positive environment for the local workforce to be trained, improve their skills, access advanced technology and management methods. From there, a high-quality workforce will be formed, creating a foundation for the long-term development of the locality.
Moreover, the presence of the project also entails the development of supporting industries, trade, logistics, services, etc., creating a vibrant economic ecosystem, contributing to the structural shift from pure agriculture to a more balanced, modern and sustainable agriculture - industry - service model. Besides HLI Eco-Hub Nam Ha, Hoa Long Invest's projects are oriented towards developing high-quality production infrastructure associated with prioritizing environmental protection and human health.
The company focuses on increasing green areas, reducing carbon emissions, optimizing temperature, light, and natural wind. At the same time, the unit is researching and implementing renewable energy solutions such as rooftop solar power to optimize energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
“Innovate the economic growth model towards green and sustainable direction, apply science and technology, innovate, improve productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness; strongly develop digital economy, green economy, circular economy, sharing economy; develop economy in open space, linked with urban development axes of the province, ensure inheritance, maximize potential, advantages, available resources of the province and favorable conditions, new opportunities and chances to accelerate development”.
