Dismantle the toll booths on National Highway 1 as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Construction has instructed the Vietnam Road Administration to urgently issue a document to the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province to organize the dismantling of the remaining two toll stations T1 and T2 on National Highway 51.

Previously, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province had sent a document to relevant agencies requesting the dismantling of toll stations on National Highway 51.

Currently, two toll stations, T1 and T2, remain on this section of the route and have not been dismantled, even though they stopped collecting tolls in January 2023.

The Ministry of Construction also instructed the Vietnam Road Administration to urgently send a written response to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, agreeing to transfer the section of National Highway 1 from Tan Van intersection to Dong Nai Bridge to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for management. At the same time, they are to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction to carry out the handover procedures according to regulations to organize the dismantling of the toll station on Dong Nai Bridge as soon as possible.
