Song Lo seriously implements the collection of voters' opinions on the policy of merging administrative units at commune and provincial levels.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the collection of voters' opinions and the procedure for approving the Project on rearranging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels, the People's Committee of Song Lo district issued a document requesting agencies, units and localities in the area to urgently and simultaneously implement according to the plan.

Direct specialized departments, communes and towns to step up propaganda on the content, order and procedures for collecting opinions from voters representing households on the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units in 2025 of Vinh Phuc province; Project on merging Vinh Phuc province, Hoa Binh province, Phu Tho province to establish a new province named Phu Tho province.

Actively mobilize to create consensus in society, sectors, levels, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of localities on the implementation of administrative unit arrangement and merger and the construction of 2-level local government.

With the strong direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, by the end of April 18, communes and towns in the whole district had seriously deployed, implemented methodically and carefully prepared human resources, equipment, and locations, and completed the voting to collect voters' opinions by household.

To facilitate the implementation, under the direction of the district, the People's Committees of communes and towns have established groups to collect voters' opinions in villages and residential groups with the number of members depending on the actual situation of the locality. Voters' opinions are collected according to residential villages. The time to organize and distribute opinion collection forms begins from April 19.

The heads of the Voters' Opinion Groups are responsible for assigning tasks to members so that the process of collecting and distributing ballots, counting ballots, and summarizing results is accurate and in accordance with regulations; sending results to the People's Councils of the same level and the People's Committees of districts according to the plan so that the People's Councils of districts and communes can hold meetings and issue resolutions approving the policy of arranging administrative units at all levels before 4:00 p.m. on April 21.
