Tri Ton recognizes 4 more products meeting 3-star OCOP standards

On the morning of April 26, Tri Ton District People's Committee held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to recognize products that meet the standards of typical rural industrial products - 3-star OCOP in 2024. Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Tran Minh Giang chaired the ceremony.

There are 4 products recognized as 3-star OCOP, including: Raw dried bananas of Bay Nui farm - Vuon tren may (Luong Phi commune); big-eared lingzhi mushrooms, Nuong farm cordyceps mushrooms and Nang Nuong termite mushrooms of Ta Danh Agricultural Cooperative (Ta Danh commune).

Up to now, Tri Ton District has 10 products evaluated and classified as OCOP products. Of which, there are 7 3-star OCOP products; 3 5-star OCOP products, including: Palm sugar syrup, Palm sugar powder and Palm sugar granules of Palmania Joint Stock Company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Tran Minh Giang congratulated and acknowledged the efforts of the subjects in building the OCOP product brand to meet 3-star standards. Thereby, requiring units, People's Committees of communes and towns to continue to propagate and raise people's awareness in implementing the OCOP Program extensively, regularly and continuously, in conjunction with the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development. In addition, supporting subjects to develop raw material areas, build value chains, mechanization, small and medium-scale processing technology; build packaging, labels, traceability; trade promotion; application of science and technology ; training human resources, vocational training; access to preferential credit packages...

The Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee also requested that entities apply digital transformation, equipment to serve market connection, traceability, especially information technology application. At the same time, continue to improve product quality, moving towards upgrading the classification of 4-star and 5-star OCOP products.
